About Latitude59 2022
Latitude59 is a cozy and relatively private technology conference taking place in Tallinn, Estonia, from 19th -20th of May.
At its core, it brings together people from the Baltic, Nordic, and Northeastern Europe’s tech ecosystem, but also from across the globe, with guests from 55+ countries in attendance.
The conference provides a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders to meet under the same roof and connect while also learning from talks held at the conference.
This year the Latitude59 conference will bring together:
2500 participants
130+ confirmed speakers
350+ international investors
500+ startups
55+ countries
As Liisi Org, Latitude CEO, puts it, “We’re so excited to see Latitude59 finally happening in full version again, after two years of uncertainty. Our whole new team behind Latitude59 this year has been working hard to deliver more speakers than ever before”.
This year’s theme is Purpose and Inclusion, and the goal of this conference is to approach topics that go beyond the project’s growth or metrics.
From the leading Scandinavian and Baltic companies to the newest startups in the tech space, invited panelists are experts in their field and are sure to bring their expertise to the keynotes and panel talks.
Stages
Latitude59’s venue will be composed of 3 different stages, each approaching a different topic. They are:
Purpose Stage is the biggest one and will host conversations on sustainability, businesses, and startups, among other topics;
Founder Stage will be focused on unicorns and their products, team dilemmas, and bootstrapping;
Future Stage takes the responsibility of approaching everything new and trending and applying breakthroughs to a startup.
Besides the mentioned stages, there will be the following designated areas:
Karma Matchmaking Area is dedicated to investors and startups’ networking and deal-making;
The Expo Area, is dedicated to the partnering companies and sponsors of L59;
The Demo Area displays 50 promising startups from different fields like GreenTech and SaaS;
MeetEstonia Area, a space composed of only Estonian startups, so that attendees get to know them better.
Alongside the conference’s panel talks, side events will also take place in this L59 edition. To find the complete list of side events, visit its dedicated agenda.
The 18th of May will be marked by Investor Day. This is a day dedicated to meeting investors in the different conference venues, investor talks, or even in the exclusive dinner for investor ticket holders only.
Like any good conference, hang-out sessions and parties are a must! The L59 Afterparty will take place on the 20th of May at 8 pm. The headlining musicians are NOËP and Sander Mölder, and the party venue will be full of bars such as the Naiiv, Pop!, Kiix and Patarei BBQ.
For startups. there is the L59 Pitch Competition, where startups will have the space to show investors and attendees what they are really about. The whole group of local startups will be narrowed down to a top 50 and later a top 5, announced on the last day of the event at the Purpose Stage.
