Chapters

We’re heading to Proof of Talk in Paris tomorrow, and guess what? We’re also speaking at the event!

Our Co-founder & CEO, Martins Benkitis, and Account Manager, Teodor Sveics will be attending the two-day event at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (inside the Louvre) from June 10 to 11.

Proof of Talk brings together protocol founders, investors, institutions and policymakers to talk about where crypto and AI are heading, and how to build responsibly as the space scales. It’s the kind of room where serious conversations happen, and we’re glad to be part of it.

Martins Benkitis on Stage: Crypto in Emerging Markets

On June 10 at 15:45, Martins will join a panel on crypto adoption in emerging markets, a topic that’s central to the work we do at Gravity Team.

He’ll be speaking alongside:

  • Amy Oldenburg, Head of EM Equity at Morgan Stanley
  • Neil Cunha-Gomes, Co-founder & Managing Partner at Feria Partners

Moderated by Soledad Contreras (Director of Partnerships at CoinDesk).

Together, they’ll explore what’s driving growth in emerging economies, how crypto fits into existing financial systems (or doesn’t), and what’s actually needed for adoption to stick beyond speculation.

Why Emerging Markets Matter to Us

At Gravity Team, we’re focused on market making and liquidity provision, but not just anywhere. A big part of our work is helping exchanges and token projects build real market depth in places where crypto can solve real problems.

We’ve worked across the globe, from Southeast Asia to LATAM.

  • Users are mobile-native and crypto-curious
  • Traditional financial access is limited
  • Stablecoins, CBDCs and on-chain rails are gaining serious traction

In these regions, price stability, fair execution and tight spreads aren’t just nice-to-haves, they’re the difference between a user staying or leaving. Our job is to make sure the liquidity is there, day in and day out.

Martins’ panel at Proof of Talk speaks directly to this. Liquidity isn’t the end goal, it’s what enables access and long-term growth in these markets.

Why We’re Going

Proof of Talk brings together 3,000+ attendees including:

  • 100+ venture funds
  • 300+ founders
  • 150+ media outlets
  • Policy leaders and regulators

It’s a high-signal event and the right kind of space for real conversations around infrastructure.

Let’s Connect

We’ll be sharing updates, takeaways and behind-the-scenes moments from the ground on X and LinkedIn. If you’re in Paris and want to meet up, drop us a line.

Let’s talk liquidity!
