Gravity Team is heading to Bali for Coinfest Asia 2026, taking place on 20–21 August at Melasti Beach, Bali, Indonesia, with Ralph representing the team on the ground.

Coinfest Asia brings together institutions, builders and traders from across the digital asset industry for two days of discussions, networking and events focused on the development of crypto across Asia.

For us, Southeast Asia isn't simply another stop on the conference calendar. It is one of the markets where the practical use cases for digital assets, stablecoins and better financial infrastructure are developing fastest.

And that makes Bali an important place to be.

Why Southeast Asia matters

Crypto adoption across Southeast Asia has developed differently from many Western markets.

Trading remains a significant part of the ecosystem, but the bigger story is increasingly about how digital assets connect with real financial activity: moving capital between currencies, settling transactions, accessing dollar liquidity and connecting local markets to global ones.

These are exactly the kinds of problems Gravity Team has spent years working on.

Since 2017, we've built liquidity infrastructure across global and emerging markets, working with exchanges, institutions, payment companies and professional trading teams.

As crypto markets mature, the line between trading infrastructure and financial infrastructure is becoming less obvious. Stablecoins are accelerating that transition, particularly in markets where moving money through traditional rails can still be slow, expensive or fragmented.

Liquidity without borders

A market can have users, assets and trading activity, but without reliable liquidity it remains difficult to scale.

That challenge becomes more pronounced across emerging markets, where liquidity can be fragmented between exchanges, currencies and banking systems.

Gravity Team works across these markets to help connect that liquidity.

Our infrastructure today spans hundreds of digital assets, multiple fiat currencies and major trading venues globally. Alongside crypto market making, we're increasingly working with institutions that need to move and settle capital efficiently between fiat currencies and stablecoins.

Southeast Asia is an important part of that picture.

The region combines large crypto-native communities with growing institutional participation and significant cross-border financial activity. As these markets develop, reliable liquidity and settlement infrastructure becomes increasingly important.

Meet Ralph at Coinfest Asia

Ralph will be representing Gravity Team at Coinfest Asia, meeting exchanges, payment companies, institutions, trading teams and other participants building across Southeast Asia.

Coinfest's 2026 programme itself reflects where the market is heading, with dedicated tracks for institutions, builders and traders, including discussions around stablecoins, tokenisation, market infrastructure and entering Asian markets.

For us, it's also an opportunity to hear directly from companies operating in the region: where liquidity remains fragmented, where settlement is still difficult, and where better infrastructure can make a difference.

If you're working on exchange liquidity, institutional OTC, fiat and stablecoin settlement, or execution across fragmented markets, meet Ralph and Gravity Team in Bali.

Why Big Banks Are Building Their Own Digital Dollar Rails

US banks are building shared tokenized deposit rails to keep instant settlement inside the banking system. This move shows how seriously incumbents now treat stablecoins as competition in payments.
